The Real Mrs. Morris

The Story

Catherine, the brilliant President of the Morris Group, returns from a year of research in Seattle to discover her world has collapsed. Her husband Elvin has abandoned their childless agreement and fathered a child with his mistress Megan. This new partner has seized their Beverly Hills mansion and stolen Catherine’s identity as Mrs. Morris. Shunned by society and branded mentally unstable, Catherine is fired from her own company. Her brother Chris rescues her from this humiliation. She soon uncovers that Elvin’s status rests on patents originally belonging to her. The law eventually steps in to punish the perpetrators. Megan faces prison for fraud, while Elvin is convicted of assault and bigamy. Freed from these lies, Catherine reclaims her life. She publishes a groundbreaking study and earns a Nobel nomination. She shines brightly as an independent woman, defined by her own achievements rather than her relationship to the Chairman.
