The Saint’s Confession

The Story

Tomás, a funeral director in a Catholic city, torments his wife and schemes to murder her for insurance money while planning to sell their deaf daughter, Lílian. Desperate to save her mother, Lílian accidentally kills both her father and his mistress. Cici covers up the crime by framing Tomás’s family. Detective Sophie investigates the case and uncovers the truth. She proves that Lílian is under twelve years old. This evidence spares the girl from the death penalty.
