The Sea Devil‘s Substitute

The Story

Alpha Leon’s true affection belongs to the protagonist’s stepsister, exposing his marriage proposal as a calculated move to secure the Alpha King election. Consumed by rage, she drains the reserved wedding wine and passes out in the company of a stranger who breaches the wine cellar. Mistaking the night for a fleeting dream, she resolves to seize power by substituting for her stepsister in a marriage to Alaric, the infamous Sea Devil. On the wedding day, the grooms switch roles. Her stepsister walks down the aisle with the coveted Alpha Leon, while she boards the Pirate King’s warship. She never anticipates that the handsome intruder from the previous night is actually the Sea Devil himself. Furthermore, she remains unaware that a new life has already begun to grow inside her body.
