The True Heiress Returns at 40

The Story

Lim Shi-eun, the wife of a conglomerate president, seeks her biological roots despite a life of privilege. She and her prodigy daughter enter the prestigious Song household, only to face icy rejection from her mother and contempt from her adopted siblings. They dismiss her as a country bumpkin and mock her husband as a migrant laborer. Although her daughter’s brilliance briefly silences the mockery, the maternal coldness persists. At a grand party, a trap unfolds when her daughter is framed as a thief. To save face, her biological mother falsely declares Shi-eun an adopted child, shattering her hope for family warmth. Just as she faces expulsion under this false accusation, the man everyone looked down upon makes a dramatic entrance.
