The Twins on the Last Bus
The Story
Rain soaks Rose as she reaches out to William, but Evelyn steals her letter and replaces it with a lie. Deceived, William rejects the pregnant woman, forcing her to raise twins Noah and Emma alone for six years. When a forced marriage looms, the children grab an old scarf and a single bus ticket, braving a storm to locate their father. William learns the truth too late, realizing that his status cannot erase the years of absence. Rose refuses his redemption, but the children redefine his role as a parent. They teach him to ask first, wait, and never leave. The one ticket expands into four, creating a path forward for the fractured family to finally move together.
