The Story

Wealthy socialite Ji Ru uncovers husband Lu Shiming's affair and decides to strike back. Pregnant mistress Guo Lili arrives to provoke her, but mistakenly assumes Ji Ru is Lu's mother. Ji Ru embraces the role of mother-in-law to manipulate Lili, demanding a meeting with the mistress's family. Lili, eager to secure a rich marriage, agrees to meet her at her father's birthday banquet. There, Ji Ru exposes the affair and pregnancy, humiliating the Guo family. She then feigns cooperation in planning the wedding while secretly collecting proof of Shiming's betrayal. On the big day, Ji Ru broadcasts surveillance footage to the guests, compelling Shiming to hand over all assets. Ji Ru finalizes the divorce, retains her fortune, and ruins the reputations of both men.
