The Story

Mia, an artist exhausted by constant family demands, and James, a CEO burdened by marital expectations, meet at a bar and agree to a practical arrangement. They plan to pose as a couple for Thanksgiving to secure years of peace. Mia’s mother, however, interprets their status with unsettling literalness, forcing them into a single bedroom for three days with no way to escape. The initial performance quickly shifts as the fake romance starts to feel dangerously real. As the holiday meal concludes and the guests depart, the boundary between their act and their true feelings begins to blur, leaving the authenticity of their connection in question.
