Us, Out of Sync

The Story

Max, the heir to a powerful conglomerate, abandons his arranged wedding with Alice, a bankrupt socialite, four years ago. She accepts the title of Mrs. M in name only. Years later, Alice works as a feared divorce investigator. Fate reunites the pair when she takes on Max’s case, precisely as he returns to lead the M Group. Neither person recognizes the other. An ambitious colleague and an envious cousin drive schemes and plots that multiply misunderstandings between them. Masks eventually fall and the truth emerges. These two individuals, once linked without ever meeting, finally find each other and fall in love for real.
