The Story

Max, the heir to a powerful conglomerate, abandons his arranged wedding with Alice, a bankrupt socialite, four years ago. She accepts the title of Mrs. M in name only. Years later, Alice works as a feared divorce investigator. Fate reunites the pair when she takes on Max’s case, precisely as he returns to lead the M Group. Neither person recognizes the other.
