Wedding Night Reckoning

The Story

Alex Sterling marries Vanessa Bennett solely to honor his late mother’s dying wish. The honeymoon ends in violence when Vanessa strikes him unconscious, revealing her lingering entanglement with her first love, Adrian Cole. Humiliation follows at a family business banquet where the Bennetts treat Alex as a broke nobody, ignoring his presence and dignity. Fed up with their contempt, Alex refuses to absorb their insults any longer. He stands before the assembled guests and strips away his disguise. The man they mocked is actually the powerful controller of Sterling Group. This dramatic revelation shatters the Bennetts’ assumptions about his worth and status in an instant.
