When Love Ends

The Story

Evelyn’s ninth anniversary shatters when she discovers Jack cheating with his pregnant secretary, Natalie. Far from remorseful, Jack smashes a wine glass over her head and forces her to kneel before the mistress. He ignores her heart condition, draining eight hundred milliliters of her blood to save Natalie. After years of devotion, Evelyn faces severe abuse and abandonment in a fire. She survives, but her love dies. She signs the divorce, leaves everything behind, and escapes to London. Jack panics, tracks her down, and finds her happy with Noah. Obsessed, he tattoos her name, forces an abortion on the mistress, and crashes her wedding. He kneels, weeps, and stabs his own chest for her. It is too late. Unmoved, Evelyn leaves with Noah.
