When Love Ends

The Story

Adrian abandons his daughter Esther in a scorching car while he spends time with his ex-lover Stacy and her son Lucas. The midsummer heat causes the engine to shut down, cutting off the air conditioning and trapping the child in rising temperatures. Esther begins to lose consciousness as she calls Adrian for help, but he hangs up without listening. Desperate, she reaches for her tablet to contact her mother, Claire, but the battery dies before she can share her location. The device powers off completely, leaving Esther without a way to communicate. A panicked Claire rushes out to search for her missing child. The search intensifies as the heat continues to rise inside the vehicle. Claire moves through the area looking for any sign of her daughter. Time presses on as the situation becomes increasingly critical for Esther. Claire’s determination drives her to keep searching despite the uncertainty of her daughter’s whereabouts.
