When Love Faded

The Story

Ariana Castro’s life shatters when the truth emerges that she is not the biological daughter of the powerful Castro family. The return of the real heiress, Bianca Castro, instantly shifts the loyalty of Ariana’s once-doting parents and brother. They side exclusively with Bianca, ignoring the evidence of Ariana’s innocence regarding the incident that left her grandmother in a coma after falling down the stairs. Believing her guilty, the family exiles her to a strict reform school for girls. Three years of inhumane abuse within those walls leave Ariana permanently disabled. She finally returns home after her long absence. The family finds the once bright and cheerful girl transformed into a cold and distant figure. The warm connections that once defined their household are gone, replaced by an unbridgeable gap. Ariana stands before them, changed by the suffering she endured away from their protection.
