When Love Faded Away

The Story

Adrian abandons his daughter Esther in a parked car while he spends time with Stacy and her son Lucas. The intense summer heat causes the vehicle to overheat and shut down, killing the air conditioning. Esther begins to suffocate and approaches fainting from the dangerous temperatures. She dials Adrian’s number to plead for help, but he hangs up without listening to her message. Just as her tablet battery runs out, Esther calls her mother Claire, begging to be saved. Before she can reveal her location, the device dies completely. Claire immediately launches a desperate search for her missing daughter. The scorching conditions continue to threaten Esther’s life while her mother scrambles to locate the car. Adrian remains unaware of the critical situation unfolding in the vehicle. Claire races against time to uncover where her daughter is trapped in the sweltering heat. The fate of Esther rests entirely on Claire’s ability to find the abandoned vehicle before the situation becomes irreversible.
