When Love Fades

The Story

Adrian abandons his daughter Esther in a parked car to join his childhood sweetheart Stacy and her son Lucas for a meeting. As the scorching summer sun beats down on the vehicle, the engine overheats and shuts down completely. The air conditioning fails immediately, trapping Esther in an intense and rising heat. She begins to suffer from the temperature, reaching the verge of heatstroke and fainting. Esther calls her father for help, but he hangs up without listening to her pleas. Just before her tablet battery dies, she reaches out to her mother Claire, begging to be saved. The device shuts down before Esther can share her specific location. Claire begins a desperate search for her missing child, racing against the rising temperature and the fading signal as the car remains parked in the brutal heat.
