When Love Fades

The Story

Evelyn’s devotion shatters when Jack, her husband of nine years, forces her to kneel before his pregnant secretary, Natalie, on their anniversary. Jack disregards her heart condition, draining her blood to save Natalie, and later abandons Evelyn in a fire to protect his mistress. After leaving divorce papers and heirlooms behind, she flees to London, where she finds love with Noah. Jack, now desperate, hunts her across the globe. He discovers Evelyn radiating joy beside Noah and loses his mind, tattooing her name on his chest and forcing Natalie to abort. He crashes their grand wedding, collapsing on the red carpet and stabbing his own chest to prove his sincerity. Evelyn remains unmoved by his pathetic pleas. She drives away for her honeymoon with Noah, who truly cherishes her. Leaving the trauma behind, she begins a brilliant new life as an independent woman, finally free from Jack’s abusive control and the weight of his betrayal.
