When Love Fades

The Story

Adrian abandons his daughter Esther in a scorching car while he meets his childhood sweetheart Stacy and her son Lucas. The engine overheats, killing the air conditioning and trapping the child in a rising furnace. Esther suffers from extreme heat and near unconsciousness as she calls her father for help, but he hangs up without listening. Before her tablet battery dies, she contacts her mother Claire, begging for rescue. The device shuts off before Esther can share her location, leaving Claire to desperately search for her missing daughter.
