When Love Fades

The Story

Evelyn’s life shatters on her ninth wedding anniversary when she discovers Jack with his pregnant secretary, Natalie. The betrayal turns violent as Jack smashes a glass against her head, forces her to kneel, and drains twenty-seven ounces of her blood for Natalie, ignoring her fragile heart condition. He abandons her in a fire to protect his mistress, yet Evelyn survives the ordeal. She divorces Jack and flees to London, where she finds happiness with Noah. Jack panics and tracks her down, only to see her content in their relationship. He tattoos her symbol, forces Natalie to abort, and crashes Evelyn’s wedding. There, he stabs himself to prove his love. Evelyn rejects him completely and leaves with Noah to start anew.
