When Love Is Gone

The Story

Adrian abandons his daughter Esther in a parked vehicle to reunite with his former lover, Stacy, and her son, Lucas. The summer heat causes the car to overheat, shutting down the engine and stopping the air conditioning. Esther begins to weaken rapidly as the temperature rises. Facing severe heatstroke and nearing unconsciousness, she calls her father for help. Adrian hangs up without listening to her pleas. As her tablet battery drains, she finally connects with her mother, Claire. She begs for rescue, but the device powers off before she can share her location. Claire desperately searches for her missing daughter in the scorching heat.
