When Love Quietly Departs, What Remains?

The Story

Adrian abandons his daughter Esther in a parked vehicle to pursue his childhood sweetheart Stacy and son Lucas. The scorching summer sun quickly overheats the car, causing the air conditioning to fail while Esther suffers from heatstroke. She calls her father for assistance, but he hangs up on her. Before her tablet battery dies, she manages to reach her mother Claire, begging for help without revealing her location. Claire frantically searches for her missing child. The desperate hunt unfolds as time runs out, testing the limits of maternal instinct against the indifference of a father who chose romance over his own child. The fate of Esther rests entirely on Claire’s ability to locate her in time before the heat claims her life.
