Worthless Dirt, Million Dollar Highway

The Story

After his father is beaten and their money stolen, he invests his last cent in barren land that everyone mocks. The village calls him a fool. Then a new highway is carved through, turning his worthless dirt into the center of a gold rush. The villagers who laughed now follow his lead. As the poorest man rises to the top, old wounds remain, showing that wealth cannot pave over the past.
