Wrong Bride, Right Lord: Two Swapped Noble Marriages
The Story
A violent storm and misplaced markers trap the Valehart sisters in the wrong beds, forcing a drastic swap of noble marriages. Soft-spoken Celia becomes the legal wife of Alaric, the cold lord of Whitekeep, while her sharp elder sister Seraphine ends up with second son Lucien. As time passes, Celia’s gentle nature slowly thaws Alaric’s stern demeanor. Meanwhile, Seraphine and Lucien grow closer through endless bickering. During a public feast, Celia faces humiliation from rude relatives, prompting Alaric to kneel and clean her stained shoes in a bold act of defense. Duke Cedric, who initially disapproved of Celia, changes his mind. He and his wife also resolve decades of hidden marital misunderstandings. The two mismatched couples navigate their new roles and overcome obstacles. They ultimately secure happy marriages, turning a chaotic wedding night into lasting love for both pairs of noble partners.
