Flood of Retribution

The Story

Clara traded her eternal existence for the power to govern the mortal realm, yet her devotion now serves as her prison. Years pass before her former companion descends to find her bound in the Demon Suppression Tower. Her vital meridians are severed, her beauty is stripped away, and her strength is drained to sustain the kingdom she created. Her husband has crowned a new ruler, while her own children brand her a demon. When she finally dies, the kingdom celebrates her end. They have forgotten that immortals possess long memories. The survivor now stands above the heavens, preparing to bury them all.
