He Made Me Kneel Before the Fake Saintess

The Story

Evelyn, the Sacred Mountain’s former top rope guide, endures three years of humiliation after Celeste, the beloved Saintess, falsely claims she cut a rescue rope during an avalanche. Celeste’s accusation leaves Evelyn crippled, and her fiancé, Duke Adrian, accepts the lie without question. For thirty-six months, Evelyn kneels on frozen steps, sacrificing her dignity to secure medicine for her brother Noah and sustain the local orphanage. On the final step, Adrian demands she kneel and lick Celeste’s boots. Just then, a black raven delivers Noah’s death notice. Stripped of everything she had to lose, Evelyn shreds her atonement contract. She immediately drags the Saintess’s fabricated narrative into the light, exposing the truth behind the frame-up.
