Hero of the Deep: My Family Regrets Letting Me Go

The Story

Ethan, the Hales' unwanted adopted son, vanishes after being framed and cast out. He joins Project Abyss, leaving his former family without their final chance at survival. A blue-ringed octopus shapeshifts into his sister to stop him. She walks a razor's edge and sways. The Hales discard their last shot at survival, while Ethan disappears into the unknown. The creature attempts to halt his path, balancing precariously between action and hesitation.
