The Story

Neil signs a secret five-year contract with Keira’s father to marry her and help heal from her painful breakup with Simon. During their arranged union, Neil remains attentive and caring, yet Keira views him strictly as a substitute for her first love. When the agreement expires, Neil uncovers Keira’s continuing infatuation with Simon and chooses to divorce her. Upon seeing the divorce papers and hearing her father confirm Neil’s departure, Keira is consumed by regret. She travels the world in a desperate search for him, finally realizing that the man she lost was truly in love with her. However, the realization comes too late. Neil has already embarked on a new, promising path and left her behind for good.
