The Story

Lord Julian Thornfield razes Adeline’s village and transforms her into a vampire to serve as a replacement for his deceased wife. Even his daughter Eve addresses her as Mama. When Adeline attempts to end her life, Eve’s peculiar ability hurls them a hundred years into the past. There, Julian is no longer a cruel lord but a scarred human slave trapped in a circus cage, whipped as a monster. Adeline only wishes to return Eve and escape, yet the child’s broken heart binds her to them both. The caged man asks who she is, and Adeline replies that she is his future wife.
