The Story

Slum boy Jack defies a mecha-ruled hierarchy to enter an elite academy trial. Noble Leon bullies him, stealing his ten thousand sync rate while Jack’s father Owens takes a beating. Ex-Marshal John intervenes, naming Jack his successor. In rags, Jack faces Blake’s taunts. He pilots a scrap mecha to crush Blake. Jack dons a cape and decrees the cancellation of Lower debts, breaking the chains of the stratified city.
