The Story

Aurelius wakes up as the Great Hua Dynasty’s eldest prince, a frontier commander who has guarded the border for five years. His new reality ends instantly when an imperial decree orders his execution. He refuses to die, demanding to know why the throne would kill a general commanding six hundred thousand troops. The rebellion begins as he fights his way back to the capital. He slaughters the treacherous rebels and seizes the throne. At the final moment, the truth emerges. Emperor Zenith orchestrated the entire trial. The execution order, the rebellion, and the fight for power were all part of the Emperor’s design. Aurelius stands on the throne he took by force, realizing the game was never about his ambition.
