Lost in Space

The Story

Timothy Snyder’s life fractures the moment his biological brother Matthew returns, weaponizing lies to turn three sisters against their adopted son. Despite facing false accusations, Timothy remains devoted, sacrificing his own health to protect his family’s well-being even as they reject him. He secretly enlists in Project Hail Mary, a desperate mission to save humanity by sending a person with a rare genetic code into space to colonize a new planet. The Snyder family only uncovers Matthew’s malice and the depth of Timothy’s devotion after he departs. Decades later, Timothy thrives on the planet Artemis, building a new existence far from Earth. His sisters are left behind, burdened by the devastating price of their betrayal and the truth they never sought. The contrast between his successful new life and their lingering regret defines their separate futures. Timothy has found his place among the stars, while the family remains on Earth, haunted by the brother they lost and the brother they never truly knew.
