The Story

Arthur Reed awakens in the past as a destitute scholar equipped with a unique system that rewards him for indulging his wives. He weds two twin sisters, crushes local bullies and bandits, and secures an engagement to Duchess Sibly. The couple arrives in the capital, where he rescues the Empress Dowager, thwarts foreign conspiracies, and assists the Empress in removing the regent from power. Having achieved his goals, he refuses the offer of political authority. The former scholar chooses a quiet life, retiring from public duties to live peacefully alongside his wives.
