The Beggar King Returns

The Story

Ryan Chase drowns in the ocean after his fiancée Mia poisons him and shoves him overboard during a yacht party. He washes ashore voiceless and identity-less, rescued by Sophia, a kind mute woman who hires him at her family’s small restaurant. Life there is hard, as Sophia’s spiteful stepmother Diane constantly abuses the new employee. Yet Ryan and Sophia grow close and fall in love. When Sophia’s father James falls critically ill, Ryan steps in to support the household. Back in the city, Mia forges a marriage certificate to seize Ryan’s multi-billion-dollar empire. His loyal assistant Thomas risks everything to protect what remains. Diane eventually learns Ryan’s true identity but still refuses to help James. This betrayal pushes Ryan to finally reach out to Thomas, ready to return to the battlefield and reclaim his lost life.
