Scorched Heart

The Story

Samantha Hughes waits a full year for AURA’s final farewell concert, only to discover her childhood sweetheart Logan kissing Sierra outside the venue after discarding Sam’s VIP ticket. Logan continues to prioritize Sierra, revealing Sam’s family trauma and eventually abandoning her during a fire. These betrayments force Sam to realize the boy she loved is gone. She withdraws from Berkeley and relocates to New York, where she rebuilds her life alongside her mother. Sam rejects every attempt Logan makes to pull her back into his orbit. Even as Sierra works to damage her reputation and Logan pleads for another opportunity, Sam remains committed to her peace and dignity. She finds stability and a new love who actually stays, leaving the past behind.
