Naturals and modifieds exist in separate worlds. Orion Solari, a natural deemed incapable of piloting a mech, suffers abandonment by humanity and contempt from modifieds. His own blood shames him as well. When extinction threatens the species, the outcast rises in a mech. He strikes down the Hive Mother and becomes the sole savior.
