Selling Daily Goods in the Apocalypse

The Story

A post-apocalyptic world rages over moldy scraps, yet a mysterious shop remains open. It connects directly to the modern era, offering a stark contrast to the surrounding decay. Every single meal demands a steep price of one hundred grams of gold. Those seeking hot food must bring their precious metal to the counter. The shopkeeper enforces these strict rules without exception. Survival in this harsh reality is dictated entirely by who holds the gold and who can afford the sustenance.
