The Story

Duke hides his true identity as the island's secret god to chase the perfect wave on his magical Koa board. His peace shatters when the Sea Hag curses him, shrinking his beloved board. To restore it, he must remain married to the Hag's human daughter, Kai, for five years. Duke secretly guides Kai to surfer stardom, yet she views him as a worthless house husband. She mistreats him and reunites with her ex, a world famous surfer. The five year term expires, lifting the curse and forcing a decision. Duke must choose between staying with Kai, hoping she finally recognizes his worth, or divorcing her to live life on his own terms.
