The Story

Derek Wolf lies dying, commanding elite surgeon Shaun to transport a donor kidney across the sky. The mission stalls on the tarmac because Kim and her daughter, Jessica, wait for boarding. Jessica is engaged to Derek’s grandson. As the plane climbs, Kim suffers a sudden heart attack. Shaun performs CPR to save her, accidentally fracturing several ribs in the process. Jessica refuses to accept the medical necessity. She demands a humiliating apology from the surgeon. Shaun stands his ground and refuses to degrade himself. Enraged, Jessica threatens to destroy the precious organ. Cornered, Shaun reveals the kidney belongs to Derek Wolf. Jessica scoffs, calling it a lie. She smashes the medical cooler open. The contents spill out, revealing a tag with the name Derek Wolf. Jessica freezes in horror, realizing the organ is destined for her own fiancé’s grandfather.
