The Story

Lieutenant Ryan Cross hides his front-line combat duties from his wife, Alice, out of fear that she will worry. He is killed in action while attempting to save his comrades, but lingering regrets transform him into a ghost bound to her side. Alice, under the mistaken belief that Ryan is merely avoiding her, becomes convinced he has been unfaithful. Consumed by anger, she resolves to take revenge by marrying another man. On the day of her wedding, her bridal car passes directly by Ryan’s funeral procession.
