The Story

Audra Hart faces relentless bullying from her in-laws because she gave birth to a girl. Their son preference drives their cruelty, and they favor Caleb Hart’s second son, Wyatt Hart, and youngest daughter, Kelsey Hart. Audra endures the abuse to remain faithful to her filial husband. Her tolerance only emboldens the mother-in-law, who targets Audra’s family and urges Caleb to divorce her. The harsh treatment finally awakens Caleb to the cruelty of his mother. He chooses his wife and daughter over his biased parent. Caleb evicts his mother from the home, ending her reign of terror.
