The Judgment Flood

The Story

Clara traded eternal life for mortal love, breaking her immortal bones to rule a human kingdom. Years later, the narrator descends from the heavens to find her chained in the Demon Tower. Her meridians are severed, her beauty withered, and her energy drained to sustain the realm she built. Her husband crowns a new queen, and her children label her a demon. When she dies, the kingdom rejoices in her removal. The narrator, who now commands the heavens, remembers everything. Immortals do not forget. The narrator intends to bury them all.
