The Mafia Boss Regrets Losing His Wife: All Episodes

The Story

Elena wakes up three years before her death, determined to escape Vincent Kane’s cold control. He possesses no capacity for pain or emotion, traits he uses to dominate New York. In her previous life, he destroyed her family’s business and murdered her parents over a secret lover. This time, she files for divorce immediately and relocates her parents overseas. She seeks out Layla, expecting a schemer, but finds a mute girl living in a leaking church. Layla signs Bible stories to orphans and shields strangers with her own body. Elena cannot hate her and tries to save her instead. Vincent, who never felt anything, finally learns what pain means. He sits on a church step, clutching a fistful of candy for a girl who will never return. The man who ruled without feeling is left broken by the loss of the woman he once ignored.
