The Story

Mason Hayes orchestrates a violent assault to strip Nora of her drug launch and elevate adopted sister Lily, while Emma and the rest of the family conspire to erase her identity. This betrayal extends beyond their reputation, as Mason delays critical surgery that threatens her future. Nora eventually exposes the extent of her stolen credit, revealing she donated a kidney to Emma and survived a fire to save Mason. Refusing to beg for validation, she enlists Professor Voss to help her vanish into a protected existence in France. There, she rebuilds her skills and develops a breakthrough medication. She ultimately returns to her former life as a transformed individual who can no longer be controlled by the people who discarded her.
