The Storm of Reckoning

The Story

Clara shattered her immortal bones to rule the mortal realm, sacrificing eternity for love. Years later, the heavens send her former immortal partner down to find her shackled in the Demon-Suppressing Tower. Her energy channels are torn apart, her beauty faded, and she has been drained to feed the kingdom she built. Her husband crowns a new queen, while her children brand her a demoness. When she finally dies, the kingdom celebrates her passing. They forget that an immortal’s memory never grows old. Now the partner stands above the heavens, ready to bury them all.
