Trial by Fire

The Story

Megan and her best friend enter the Harper family as sisters-in-law, bonding with the doctor and the firefighter captain. On their third anniversary, a fire erupts upstairs, trapping the pregnant Megan in a locked room. She screams for her husband, but he claims his sister's cat takes priority over her safety. Her best friend smashes the door down to rescue her, yet the trauma causes Megan to lose her baby. That night, two divorce agreements land on the brothers' desks. The once-unshakeable bond between the couples shatters into panic as the men face the consequences of their choices. The firefighter captain and the doctor realize their marriages are over, leaving them in complete disarray while the women walk away from the family that failed them.
