The Story

The anniversary celebration turns into a nightmare when a former lover traps a pregnant woman in a burning room. Her husband dismisses her desperate pleas, claiming he must save a cat, while her best friend Leah breaks the door down to drag her to safety. Leah then calls her own husband for support, but he responds with cold indifference, citing a wounded cat tail and demanding she stop hysterics. The woman loses her unborn child that day, watching the doctor carry out the fully formed baby. Her spirit breaks, and she decides to end the marriage. Leah embraces her, vowing to leave her own husband as well because they do not deserve their tears. That very night, both Harper brothers receive the divorce papers. Panic sets in as the two men face the sudden departure of their wives, realizing the gravity of their neglect and the finality of the women's decision to walk away from their lives.
