Two Wives, Two Divorces

The Story

Seven months pregnant, the narrator finds herself trapped in a fire ignited by her husband’s first love. While she struggles to survive, her husband and his brother prioritize rescuing Megan’s cat over saving her life. She loses her baby. Consumed by grief, she tells her best friend Leah that she wants a divorce. Leah embraces her and agrees to leave as well, declaring the men trash. That night, the Harper brothers panic when they receive the divorce papers from both wives.
