Two Wives, Two Divorces

The Story

Pregnancy transforms into tragedy when a house fire traps a woman for seven months while her husband ignores her calls to save a cat. Her best friend Lena smashes the door open, only to discover her own spouse is also neglecting his duties to bandage the same animal’s tail. The fire claims the unborn baby, leaving the victim devastated. Lena declares that neither brother is worth their tears and vows to leave if her friend does. The next morning, divorce papers land on the Karpinski brothers’ doorsteps, sending the fire captain and famous surgeon into a panic. The two women stand united against the men who chose a pet over their families, ending the marriages that once defined their lives.
