The Story

Neil signs a five-year contract with Keira's father to marry her, aiming to help her recover from the painful heartbreak caused by her first love, Simon. Throughout their arranged union, Neil remains caring and attentive, yet Keira consistently views him merely as a substitute for the man she lost. As the contract expires, Neil recognizes that Keira remains emotionally tethered to Simon and decides to end the marriage. Upon discovering the divorce agreement and learning from her father that Neil has departed, Keira is consumed by regret. She travels the world in search of him, eventually realizing that the man she pushed away truly loved her. However, the opportunity to repair their bond has passed. Neil has already established a promising new life and left her behind for good.
